Springs 4th of July Parade
Come join us each year for our annual 4th of July Parade
and Celebration! This annual event and parade
is entertaining for the whole
family.
Any participant is welcome, as long as they have a tasteful,
patriotic display.
 The parade, which is sponsored by 15 local businesses, lasts
about an hour. There are inflatable
attractions for children, and several food
vendors serving up fare such as barbecue ribs,
hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, funnel cakes and
snow cones.
 Face-painting for children is available and each year there
is musical entertainment.
Mayor Ann Taylor said the parade is free for spectators and
participants.
“We try to encourage people to come into town and that’s one
way to get them here,” she said. “We don’t
really know who’s going to be in the parade
until the last minute. We have a lot of unique
entries. It will be entertaining.”
